Hi,
i have found zero sessions on one node of my 2 node RAC while other node have user session on it (70 at an average). in connection string of application we didnt use SCAN rather they are 2 x normal ips of both machines. the alert log doesn't say anything about it. the issue started some months ago but i couldn't find any help for it. earlier everything was ok and both nodes were having user sessions but now only one node has sessions. listeners are ok . what else i should check pl guide

Regards

the connection string AT application side(Websphere) is as
jdbc:oracle:thin:@(Description=(ADDRESS_LIST=(Addres=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=10.X.X.31)PORT=1521))(Addres=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=10.X.X.32)PORT=1521)))CONNECT_DATA=(SERVICE_NAME=SERVCIE.KOT.TK)))

That is not the connect string you are using. It has spelling mistakes and wrong parantheses.

You never had load balancing with that. You need to add (load_balance=on)(failover=on). Or use the SCAN, as you are meant to do since release 11.2.
