hi forum
i have taken dump of the database using export command and after that i formatted my server and relaoded oracle 9i and now i want to import the databe back but data is not restored back to the database using imp command it shows import terminated successfully but no data is found when queried the database.

please post a log of the import session.
You have to recreate the tablespaces( in target database )
with the same name as the old one.
then do the import.
