hi

  Imp80(oracle8)  does not import the data from the .dmp file(dump taken from Exp(oracle8i).

 Only table structure is imported into the oracle's lower version without data, if dump is taken without data from higher version

Is there any option that imports data from higher version to lower version.

usually,
the lower versions exp/imp WILL work good against the hihger version database/ server.
PLEASE post the exact error message /logfile or the snapshot of the session.
