Does anyone know how to have nt sqlplus open to the last directory you ran a script from or to at least open at a default directory you can set when it is first opened (or used)

session level setting
SQL>set editfile d:usermynamedeffilename.sql

am not sure whether you can set this glogin file

try and lemme know

Create a shortcut to sqlplus (if you don't already have one). Right click on the shortcut and select properties. Under the shortcut tab, speciy a path for "start in" - that's where the default directory will be.
