We have an Oracle DBMS on one server and an INFORMIX DBMS on another. The Oracle DB needs to update records on the INFORMIX tables. The connection is via Rogue Wave Tools and transparent gateway. The Oracle process keeps getting -244 informix errors, and locking the records. We cannot find a way, via the rogue wave tools, nor the gateway, to pass a lock wait or a dirty read. Surely there is a way to update an INFORMIX db from a gateway.
Any help would be appreciated.
