I need a simple explanation why it is needed to create a schema and it's purposes. Thanks.

schema is the work area for the user.
You ask oracle to create a user, it will create the user and a work area (with the same name) for that user, so that the user can organize all his objects in one area. this work area is schema.

Otherwise everything would just be global and public. Data has to belong to somebody.

Does a schema automatically created when a user is created? Or a schema have to be manually created after a user is created?

In Oracle they are the same thing.

Now I understand that a schema is a logical representation of an owner account.
