I foolowed the following steps to use discoverer with oracle apps
1. Create new Discoverer End User Layer.
2. Verify Location of Database Connection File and Update tnsnames.ora file
3. Regenerate your Business Views
4. Set up Applications User/Responsibility for EUL Administration: SYSADMIN/System Administrator
7. Import the backup file from erpdev instance to production.
8. Refresh the Discoverer End User Layer
9. Grant EUL User Privileges for Oracle Applications responsibilities
10. Grant Access to Responsibilities, Users, and Workbooks
Log in to the Discoverer Administration as Applications User which was granted full Administration Privileges and Security:
connect as sysadmin/pwd
I failed to conect. what am i missing? Can anybody provide me with a detailed checklist to ensure that i can login to discovere administrator and desktop as application user.

thank you.

i fixed the problem. my mistake was that i didn't copy the dbc file from the application server to my pc and did not modify the tns file of my discoverer node.

Now, it's working perfectly.
